TRADITION. NATURE. ENJOYMENT.

AT 1,165 METRES ABOVE SEA LEVEL · FAMILY-OWNED FOR FIVE GENERATIONS

For more than 130 years, the Gaisalpe has been a place to arrive, unwind and enjoy. Here, time-honoured traditions, warm Allgäu hospitality and the spectacular natural beauty of the Allgäu Alps come together. What began in 1893 is now being continued by our family in the fifth generation – with the same passion and dedication.

Whether you visit us in spring, summer, autumn or winter, you can look forward to regional specialities, genuine hospitality and unforgettable moments in the heart of the mountains. The Gaisalpe is more than a mountain inn – it is a place you will always be happy to return to.

Please note that we do not accept card payments.

HOW TO REACH US

Your hike to the Gaisalpe begins at the car park in Reichenbach. From there, it takes approximately 45 minutes to reach us.

Along the way, you can choose between the romantic Tobelweg gorge trail, with its bridges and stone steps, or the more leisurely mountain road, which is also suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

From the Gaisalp Chapel, it is only a few more minutes to our mountain inn. The Gaisalpe is also the starting point for numerous hikes and mountain tours into the Allgäu Alps.

Do you have any questions about the hiking routes? Just ask us – we will be happy to offer personal advice.
