After an eventful hike, genuine Allgäu hospitality awaits you. Many of our ingredients come from our own mountain farm and are lovingly prepared to create delicious regional specialities. Whether you take a seat in our cosy dining room, our rustic historic parlour or on our spacious sun terrace, enjoy homemade dishes accompanied by magnificent views across the Iller Valley and into the Allgäu Alps.

During the summer months, our cattle and calves spend their summer grazing on the lush alpine pastures around Lake Gaisalpsee together with livestock from other local mountain farms. It is a living tradition that has been part of summer at the Gaisalpe for generations and reflects our close connection with nature.

One of our winter highlights is the natural toboggan run along the mountain road towards Reichenbach. Toboggans are available to hire directly from us. Whether you are visiting with family or friends, an exhilarating ride down the mountain is one of the most enjoyable winter experiences around the Gaisalpe.
